When you need up-to-date information — recent news, current prices, live data — Gemini's ability to pull from the web in real time is genuinely useful. The trade-off is that its reasoning and writing quality lag behind Claude and GPT-4o.
Which should you use? Use ChatGPT if you want a generalist tool with the most integrations. Use Claude if writing quality and instruction-following matter — or if you're working with long documents. Use Gemini if you need live web data or are already deep in the Google ecosystem.
